Many of you, when thinking about going on a diet, probably assume that you have to give up eating desserts and other treats. However, it doesn't have to be that way! If you take care of the right selection of ingredients for preparing sweet snacks, then in addition to the pleasure of eating them, your body will receive many healthy and nutritious substances. In this article, we suggest how to compose low-calorie sweets and provide a few simple recipes for fit desserts.
What products to use for diet desserts?
Sweets are primarily associated with a high sugar content, unhealthy fat and, of course, a high dose of calories - this is the case with standard sweets. However, if you use healthier alternatives instead of the above ingredients, you will get dietetic and equally tasty sweet snacks. You can successfully replace white sugar with xylitol, erythritol, honey, stevia, maple syrup or agave. These are all natural sweeteners with low calories. Bananas and dates are also great in this role. Then, when it comes to fats, here too you can easily find low-calorie products that are perfect for preparing desserts. These are coconut oil, olive or avocado oil, and natural and Greek yogurt instead of cream. In addition, reach for fruit as often as possible to prepare sweet snacks! They are a valuable source of vitamins, fiber, and natural sugar. By adding them to desserts, you enrich their taste and at the same time reduce their calorific value. Don't forget about grains, seeds and wholemeal flour, which contain a lot of valuable substances, including, above all, fiber - invaluable when losing weight because it aids digestion.
By composing sweets from the ingredients listed above, you will obtain light and low-calorie snacks. After eating them, you will not feel heavy, but pleasant and full of energy.
