First Holy Communion
Communion is a great emotional experience for the child and an organizational challenge for the parents.
A nine-year-old is the hero of the day for the first time, he is excited about the ceremony, the reception and the pleasures associated with it. The task of parents and relatives is to make the day of communion a joyful and full of attractions.
One of them is the long-awaited dessert after a gala dinner in the form of a communion cake. The most popular are book cakes, round and rectangular cakes.
Below, in a few steps, we will help you choose and order a cake for your First Communion party.
STEP 1
Shape and number of guests?
If we know the approximate number of guests, it is easier to choose the shape and size of the cake.
A standard portion of cake per person is approximately 120 g, but for the biggest sweet tooths we recommend 150 g.
If you want to give your guests a takeaway cake in a box, double the estimated number of servings.
Round cake
weights from 1.0 kg to 3.5 kg (8 – 30 servings)
easy to store in your home refrigerator
Book cake
weight from 2.5 kg to 5.0 kg (20 – 40 servings)
Rectangular cake
weights from 2.0 kg to 8.0 kg (15 – 70 portions)
STEP 2
Shape and number of guests?
We present five flavors that we most often offer to children. The selected flavors are only part of our offer, the full list of flavors can be found on our website.
Tips
Sometimes it's hard to choose just one flavor. A helpful solution is to order two cakes:
a communion cake for children and an additional cake with a different flavor for the rest of the guests.
We also offer the possibility of ordering cakes without lactose, with birch sugar or without wheat flour.

STEP 4
Kids don't live by cake alone...
For afternoon tea, in addition to cake, we offer a selection of delicious, homemade cakes.
Our showcase are cakes made from natural ingredients, tasting home-made, just like in the past.
We guarantee that both children and guests will enjoy a piece of fluffy cheesecake or fragrant apple pie.
STEP 5
The highlight of the party – a dessert table of plenty!
If your party is for a larger number of guests or requires an unusual version of desserts, we suggest composing your own Table of Sweets, based on our offer of cakes and cupcakes, mini-tarts, nano-desserts.
You will find a lot of inspiration on the Internet on how to arrange such a sweet buffet, and the venue staff will certainly help you if the party is outside your home.
STEP 6
All you have to do is order selected sweets…

First Communion essentials - some practical tips when organizing a party.
We believe that you will do an excellent job as the organizer of your child's party. Just to compare the checklists, we remind you of a few important things and suggest a few others to make the party a great success. On the eve of the ceremony:
- make sure you have charged batteries in your phone or your own photographic equipment,
- provide your loved ones with comfortable transport to the ceremony and reception venue,
-think about a place for gifts and securing them,
-check whether the menu and decorations for the party are in good hands,
-agree with the staff about cakes and takeaway boxes for guests, if you plan to do so,
- make sure that the hairdresser and photographer you have ordered are ready to work the next day,
-organize a few small pleasures for adults tired of children's parties (chilled beer, coffee service throughout the party, a comfortable relaxation corner away from the children's games).
And on this most important day... we wish you good weather, lots of relaxation, smiles and wonderful taste sensations when tasting our sweets!
